Mad for Jon Hamm
Monday, October 12, 2009 at 3:55PM I just have to say it... I was one arms length away from Jon Hamm on Saturday afternoon. nbd. I was just minding my business trying to walk to Subway so I could eat fresh and Mr Hamm was shooting up the McDonalds on Boylston by Fenway Park. In an FBI uniform... in a bullet proof vest... HOT!

So after the shooting was done (both the faux gun shots and the scene - see above) I continued to walk and there he was. Leaning against a car all Don Draper looking. He was riiiight next to me. I could have (and prob should have) touched touched him. But then I remembered how handsome my real, non-cheating husband is. (Jon Hamm's Mad Men character, Don Draper, has a little bit of a fidelity problem.)
I didn't have the guts to take a close up picture on my phone. Didn't want to go all hello kitty on him, I needed to appear aloof. Don Draper would appreciate aloof more than a FB mobile upload. I could have even stayed and continued to watch him, I mean the scene but again... aloof.
So after my transcendental experience I merrily walked home and then went to work at Cactus all while secretly hoping Jon would come in asking for one of Boston's Best Margaritas!
Watched Mad Men last night and it would appear that Don Draper is up to his old tricks, again. Makes for hot scenes with Jon so can't really complain. I HIGHLY recommend you watch Mad Men but completely understand if you don't understand or if it moves too slowly for you. It's a hard show to jump into. I think it all comes down to what you like in TV. Don't get me wrong, I love watching like 16 episodes of Friends in a row, but I love a good drama - and this is GOOD.
On a even BRIGHTER note it would appear that my husband is coming to visit YAYY! He'll be here TOMORROW and staying for a few weeks, I am SO excited!
