the yankees are vile

Here are a few words that come to mind when I think of The Yankees... loathe | seethe | vile | hatred | abomination |  disgust | abhor | evil... etc.  I know that Boston fans have felt this way for decades but it never hit home (no pun intended) until they stacked up against my Phils.

I hate them.  I'm totally caught up in the Yankee hating frenzy.  They're a bunch of overpaid, obnoxious, cocky, JERKS that don't deserve the title.  $15 million average salary for a Yankees starter.  $5 million for a Phillies.  Need I say more.  Phils have heart.

And I'm also heated about MVP going to DH Hideki Matsui.  A DH.  Play baseball like real men, pitchers are baseball players, too.  ARGH.

Aside from all that angst, I am really happy with the Phils for all their effort put forth.  Cliff Lee is an inspiration.  Chase Utley, a tie with Reggie Jackson is no small feat.  Ryan Howard, the WS was a little rough for you but I  still have love.  Jason Werth, astounding athlete (and handsome!).  Looking forward to 2010!
