meet otto

We were puppy sitting 8 month old, Otto the chocolate lab this weekend.

Otto is Christian's uncle and family's dog.  He is cute, very cute.  But he is a puppy, very much a puppy.  We had our hands full all weekend!

He's good puppy birth control if there is such a thing, haha.  I think that I might back down off my dog campaign for a little while.  I don't know how long that will last... :)

Of course everything is different with your own dog.  But we took care of him like our own... including cleaning up lots of his puppy diarrhea, oy vey.

But yes, he's cute... especially when he's sleeping, haha.

maverick the dog turned one

Many of you know I have a canine heartthrob named Maverick, aka Mav or Mavvy. He is my boss and his wife's precious pup. Precious may not be the best word because he's no frilly girly girl dog. He is a medium sized handsome steed, haha.

Mav turned one (seven?) on Saturday. The Delahaye clan had a birthday brunch celebration for him. I got him this hat (amongst sausage and toys as well, clearly).

How frigggggen adorabe is he?! What a ham! I love it. He is the best. Only to be surpassed some day in the future by own pup, though admittedly my expectations are super high now!

Here is an after shot that Jenn took. I promise it wasn't animal abuse! He was too tired to fight it and I mean... could he get any cuter?
