happy birthday lady g!

This one is dedicated to my one and only Lady G – Gail Gaga Felcher.  Happy birthday darling!

I miss you more than words can say Gaga so I thought instead I’d include a little montage of some of our fondest memories together (there are too many to choose from!)

I miss our Sunday fundays, dates at Cambridge 1, our runs (although they were always followed by proper shove fests), dates with your DVR, lady gaga concerts, trips to LA, birthday parties, happy hour, etc etc.  Hope you’re enjoying LA!!  Miss you and love you bundles!

UL Week 4 - kicked off the island

This week was ridiculously intense yet pathetic all at once for me. I definitely fell below the yellow line at a gain of 2.8 lbs. WTF. I worked out like a maniac... crazy woman... lunatic... all week. Went to the gym 2x a day in some instances. So pissed.

Not a clue what went wrong there. And if one more person says "oh I'm sure you're just building muscle" I'm going to throw a kettleball at them. Of course I'm building muscle but I'm not exactly hitting up the protein powder.

Thursday's LCW brought on the dreaded "Stairs" routine - aka climb 20 floors of our building.  Here is my building:

FitCorp is on the second floor.  We had to 'run' to the 22nd floor (the last tippy top flippin floor).  I've done this before as part of a class for marine corps or something (OK really it's called BG Sports but seriously).  I couldn't walk for 4 days afterwards so needless to say I was a little scared.  My calves were literally twitching for an hour after LCW. I still have knots in my calves 4 days later - not exactly pleasant!

So after having a mini meltdown after Friday weigh in, I let it go for the most part. I took the day off on Saturday to play with Maverick on his first birthday, more on that later. Got back on the horse yesterday (Sunday) with a five mile run.

Run was an interesting one. Weather was ungodly gorgeous and after a mile I felt great except that I had to pee like a racehorse and apparently I had over dressed and was sweating profusely. God bless fast food restaurants. Where else can you realistically guarantee that you can use a public restroom requiring no human interaction? Don't have to say anything, buy anything just head right in. Thank you BK for saving my bladder and allowing me to continue my run. :)

Anyway, the SPECTACULAR weather this weekend was a huge mood elevator. Spent all day outside yesterday, it was glorious.  Met up with Gail and her bum knee after my run and we got some lunch and walked back to her neck of the woods for some BerryLine, YUM.  Perfect little day :)

Now if I could just be a literal loser this week rather than a figurative loser that would be great!

ga-ga Oh-la-la

As you already know I am ridiculously overdue on my Lady Gaga post. I did write a fab post then in true Chrome fashion I got an 'Aw Snap' aka Internet Explorer Cannot Display this Page bullcrap. Didn't have it in me to repost until now. So frustrating.

But Gaga... amazing! She is such an amazing performer. Over the top fantastic. She is worth every penny of a sold out Wang Center. A different outfit and routine for every song with no lip syncing. The real deal.

She opened with new song “Dance in the Dark” (omg love this song) and then moved into Just Dance (my anthem), and I was ‘so happy I could die’. ;)

We took some ridiculous pictures I am reluctantly showing to you all, haha.  At one point at the restaurant before we went to the show a girl came up and took my picture to send to her husband?? It’s fine.  Papa-Papa-Paparazzi.

Hands down so amazing. After the show I was ready to kill someone for water.  I finally get to the register at Walgreens with water and Gatorade in hand and went to say thank you and nothing came out, no more voice.  The next day I had this raspy scratchy voice and my vocal chords were definitely mad at me J  All totally worth it.

Tonight is the night!  Lady Gaga concert with little monsters Gail & Sarah among others. OW OWWW!  He's my look for tonight:

I'm sitting here at work wondering if anyone would notice if I drew my lightning bolt on my face a little prematurely.  It is, after all, the 2nd best day of December. :D

To all other little monsters... you'll be in my heart as I'm dancing my Gaga off.  I will try to give you some shot outs during my routine on stage but... Lady G and I have a Bad Romance so she might get a little jealous. :P

Ga-Ga Ooh La-La

Bad Romance. Lady Gaga's latest hit and I'm in love.  You can listen to it on ladygaga.com! Her new album The Fame Monster comes out Nov 23rd which means I will have exactly one week to learn all the lyrics for her CONCERT at the Wang Center Dec 1st. Yep. Get jealous.

Gail woke up in the wee hours of Saturday morning (10am) to order the tickets. After her page took 35 minutes to load (talk about site performance issues) she got us some siiiick seats. Thanks for your hard work Gail!

Sarah will be joining us for the madness (insanity, hot mess, sh*tshow) that is a Lady Gaga concert. Can't wait! Hope Wang Center doesn't discriminate on sunglasses and sparkles oww owww.

Totally should have been Lady Gaga for halloween but will just dress up as her for the concert instead! :D Anyone else going?

I bet I know what most of you are up to tonight. GAME ONE WORLD SERIES Phils vs Yanks.  GO PHILS! We're going home this weekend, too!  Can't wait!
